Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? almost all of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? in the buy catalogue
What happens when the bug occurs? model clips through roof on lowest wall height setting
What do you expect to see? a shorter version or adjusted model so no clipping occurs
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

its the "bobs protective china cabinet" from the pets expansion. it looks great and id love to use it, its the first time ive seen an objects modeled this way (or have i just not been paying attention?) where it breaks the usual heigh increments.

@moltazia since you cannot place the object in a room set at the lowest wall level unless you have bb.moveobjects turned on, I think this object is functioning as designed.  It appears to be designed as a taller object and meant to be used with taller wall heights.  You can still place it with bb.moveobjects turned on (just as you can with other tall objects), but you won't see the plates on the top on the lower level and would need to be prepared to disguise them by moving other object(s) on top of them on the upper level.  This is not the first object they've introduced in the game that extends beyond one story, so there is a precedent for it.

 

Edit:  Also, with the new shrink functionality (press [), you can reduce the object's size a bit in order to fit it into the lowest level.  You will still need to place it with bb.moveobjects on, as the game still sees it as having the original size footprint, but visually, it will look just fine. Standard smile
