[BY DESIGN] New Roof Types do not align to Walls [ Edited ]

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place a Hexagonal or Pentagonal roof. Attempt to draw a wall or custom room in line with the roof lines; you'll find that they do not align because the roof angles are at angles with which walls cannot be drawn. Even with the octagonal roof, while it aligns better with walls (since you can draw them at those angles), the angles are still slightly off, leaving (in the case where you want to cover an octagonal room with an octagonal roof) uncovered portions of the structure. If you apply the Beveled Roof Trim, you can cover the affected area, but no other trim fully covers it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Affected roof types cannot be built upon a structure with the same angles (since those wall angles do not exist) or the roof (in the case of octagonal) does not fully cover a structure designed with the same angles.
What do you expect to see? The ability to draw walls at the same angles as the hexagonal and pentagonal roofs (or probably an easier solution - preset rooms available in those shapes as we already have some preset room shapes) and for the octagonal room to exactly align with an octagonal structure of the same size.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. New in the 11/7/17 patch.

I heard that this is the intended behavior at the moment.  The game currently does not support 5 and 6-sided rooms.  Also, regarding the 8-sided roofs not properly aligning with 8-sided rooms, those roofs are currently intended to have extended eaves or roof trims.
