[BY DESIGN] Graphics Glitch - Wall Edge Sticks Out Where Stairs Meet Wall

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place a solid stair up to a wall as seen in image linked below.
What happens when the bug occurs? The wall edge sticks out where the stairs meet the wall.
What do you expect to see? For the stair wall to connect seamlessly to a wall.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

When a regular wall is connected to a stair wall, the walls do not line up properly, and an unsightly wall edge sticks out.  See image here.
