My sim got promoted to Ufologist in the Science career and I received message that she will receive the : tale door and shatterproof window.  She did not receive this although it is onlocked now.

Build objects are not awarded in the inventory; they are unlocked in the Build Mode catalog.  Are you able to use the unlocked objects in the Build Mode catalog?

Which other complaints are you referring to ? Did you check your household inventory ?

There is nothing in the inventory.  I have noticed other people have complained about the career rewards objects missing from inventory, but it was closed and suggested that if more people has problems they should start a new mail.

I checked household and the sim inventory, there is nothing.  This has happened last week as well.

Sorry my other sim is an astronaut and he is receiving his rewards in the house inventory.

So the window was the only item you didn't' get or were there others ?

I was able to duplicate the window (although with cheats).
