[BY DESIGN] [GTW] CAS Not Working Correctly when entered through Closet [ Edited ]

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Holiday Celebration Pack, Bowling Night Stuff, Toddler Stuff, Vampires, Kids Room Stuff, Outdoor Retreat, Dine Out, Seasons, Spooky Stuff, Get to Work, Parenthood, Get Together, Spa Day, Luxury Party Stuff, Backyard Stuff, City Living, Jungle Adventure, My First Pet Stuff, Perfect Patio Stuff, Cats and Dogs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click on the closet, select plan outfits, go inside, wait for CAS to open.
What happens when the bug occurs? When the CAS opens after entering through the closet there is nothing on the left hand side of the screen. For example, there are no family members listed at the bottom, the name is not there, there are no traits and no aspiration. One note: Everything works fine if I use the dresser instead of the closet.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the sim name, the traits and aspiration and the family members listed at the bottom.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

In addition to removing all the mods, I removed the localthumbcache and ran a repair on the game.

those are all the special wardrobes that come with GTW.

That is by design and has always been that way.

any closet or a special one ?

What kind of Sim are you playing ? Vampire ? Alien ? Normal Sim ? What age group did you choose to use the wardrobe ?

Can you try a different household if it has the same issue ?

All closets are affected.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I tried resetting the game to factory settings without reinstalling and am still having the same problem with the CAS.

Could you post a screenshot how it looks ?

EDIT: I checked my game and the GTW closet does this (the big one) but I believe it always has and that's by design ?

Which other ones are you seeing this with ?

I attached a picture of my CAS, however, it would not display the items on the right hand side of the screen.  The items on the left hand side of the screen are still not visible.

This is happening with Perfect Size Closet, Fashionista's Closet and Squaring It Square.
