I want to talk about something you don't mention above: Apex Legends
How accessible is the current experience? I can use parts of it
Summarize what in the product is difficult to use. STT is a really exciting aspect of Apex Legend's accessibility features for me, but when it's enabled on the PS4 this leads to constant crashes and I'm not able to load into a game at all. It's also pretty important since it's also the only way to silence everyone's mics without having to click 4 times to clumsily mute each individual person.
How is this making it more difficult? Being able to silence all mic chatter is really important to me from an accessibility standpoint as I'm autistic and get sensory overload. It can also be hard to hear what's going on in game. On top of this being able to mute voice chat across the board with a single setting is a really important tool to mange harassment and toxicity.
How can we reproduce this experience? Enable STT option for VoIP chat and try to enter games. It worked fine at first but after a few matches with someone with a mic it crashed every single time we tried to enter a match.
Please fix the bug so I can enable STT to VoIP chat.
Please make it so I can mute all mic chat if desired like on the PC version.
