Apex Legends random Freezing/rubber band/lag?

I never even use the Killer Control app, not actively at least. I opened it and turned off Advanced Stream Detect as you said and so far I am free of lag spikes! You're a legend, thanks heaps. :D

Yeah, I have this same exact issue,
Setup: MSI Gaming X GTX 1080
I7-7700k
16GB RAM

The game randomly freezes for me, and takes up to 10 seconds to unfreeze, Its not my internet either, I did a internet test, and it is at 100% function.

I have figured out a fix that has worked for me, I just remembered me doing it and it working.

Make sure that in your game settings, that under Video or Display, where you can change how much VRAM you are using, that you are not using 8gb of VRAM.
That makes your GPU utilize everything and can lead to random freezing and crashing.
I would recommend using 6GB, I have not had any issues while doing this.

Same thing happening it randomly freezes and then after it responds again i just get kicked from the match.

Hell yeah bro, i'll give this a try. this stupid rubberband trash hasnt stopped me from winning but it is super annoying. Thanks for the info!

Since i have installed killer control center and latest killer e2500 drivers and uncheck the option stream detect i dont have anymore freezes (2days without freeze) so many thanks to the guy who find this solution and good luck to the others
