Apex Legends Freezing while looting

What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. looting while the ring starts or is about to stop moving

How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? not sure, is random but happens fairly often, every couple of matches
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Started happening after 2/15/19 patcg
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)

What happens when the bug occurs? Game freezes and needs to be forced to close

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The freeze generally happens during looting or when item descriptions pop up such as when I ping them or hover over them to loot. Also seems to happen more often during the rings collapse.
I am not sure if it is a problem with the AMD Radeon 200 series drivers or not, but the issue began with the 2/15/19 patch so possibly changes in this patch made it more unstable for these drivers. I have tried lowering all visual settings to low or disabled but seems to not affect the issue so it may not be a graphical issue. As said previously it appears to happen more frequently when looting during the rings first collapse. It has however happened all the way until the second or third ring collapse.
