How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Send sim to in the biz. Use cupcakes to restore energy. Once there's about three and a half hours left, use simcash to finish. Go home and place the ancient webcam on writer's block desk. Send the sim that just completed the event to work and close the app.
What do you expect to see? After opening the app a few hours later, the webcam will be gone and sim will be in the middle of in the biz again. The internet icon hobby will be lock again. The simcash will be restored, along with the cupcakes.

Best thing would be to contact an EA game advisor about this issue.
You can do so through The Sims Mobile app. Open the side menu, choose the gear icon, then the button with 'Help'.
This will open your browser, scroll down until you see 'Contact Us' and choose 'Technical Support'.
