All audio is pitched up/in a different musical key than usual

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just by listening to the game
What happens when the bug occurs? All noises apart from sim vocalizations are in a different key. Mood jingles, button "click" noises in menus/CAS, build/buy mode music. I removed mods and went back in the game, same thing occurred with the sound.
What do you expect to see? Music back to "regular" pitch.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I know this is a relatively mundane issue - if you could even call it that - but it is driving me absolutely insane for some reason lol.

@amanderanoranges Could you maybe upload an audio sample of what you are hearing ?

Also try deleting the options(.ini) file. You'll need to reset anything you changed but hopefully it helps.
