Aim Assist is bugged [ Edited ]

This is still a major issue for me. And this isn't some excuse for missing shots or whatever. This is a legit bug. The aim assist has something weird going on and it needs to be looked into further.

I'd say 95% of the time, regardless of game mode, it feels as if there is little to no aim assist. On console, AA is 0.6, but when playing it feels like 0.0 - 0.2 and then randomly on 1 particular enemy, it feels like the aim assist ramps up to the standard value of 0.6, and you get that sticky feeling.... then after killing that enemy, on the next enemies, the AA drops right back down to what feels like 0.0 - 0.2.

Idk. It's really strange and it's kind of bothersome when it seems like Respawn is doing nothing about it, and not enough people are talking about it. 

Is this not a widespread issue? Is it only affecting certain systems or certain accounts? I just want it to be fixed.

It does feel to me as if aim assist is simply not triggering in the majority of engagements, in some cases it is triggering and you get the aim assist you expect. Then in some very rare cases the effect is getting stacked and you're almost locked on to one particular target and it's a fight to get the reticle off that target.

Same again. I'm going to keep bumping this thread until we get some communication and action to resolve this issue because the aim assist remains in a ridiculously inconsistent state, and non-existent that majority of the time.

How is this not fixed yet? I’ve not played for weeks because of it and I still have no aim assist randomly in some fights

I’ve also been dealing with this since S17…

I’m not the best player, but consistent D2 prior to this season, so I’m capable of aiming and controlling recoil compared to most.

All of a sudden I’m losing tons of gun fights I normally wouldn’t and have the worst stats I’ve had of any season by a very wide margin…

I want to keep playing but can’t really find the motivation with the game being in its current state…

Trash matchmaking, awful ranked mode, and now non-existent or working 5% of the time AA.

I had exactly the same experience going from S16 to S17. The aim assist is completely inconsistent and remains so.

As I've said before, it as if the aim assist is not triggering the majority of the time, actually triggering as expected in a few situations, and then in others it's like it's doubled up, locking you on to a target and dragging the crosshair around independent of anything you're doing with the right stick.
