Aim assist is broken. Only works sometimes.

Here is another tweet from someone who has done some testing. His results are the same as mine. Aim assist from the front seems to not work most the time, but if you are behind the enemy, it works.

This also happens to me on PC while using a controller so it's not just console affected. I have also only played ranked and not in the firerange . I don't have any clips but there are some on twitter I think. Please fix I feel like I can't play the game anymore 😭😭😭

Can report still having issues today on XBOX. It seems massively inconsistent; aim assist will work in one match (even too much, dragging aim to a downed target when you're trying to shoot at others around them) and then seem completely absent in the next.

Mine started working again yesterday. Today it’s the same, NONE. Ever.

I suspect there's some kind of condition that's not being triggered which causes aim assist to be active in some circumstances and then inactive again. Whether that's the game mode you're playing or something in the inputs or who knows what. It explains the inconsistency, and we know that something like that can exist because of the issue with the dummies in the firing range at the beginning of the season (inactive from front but if you got behind them it would become active again, or something like that). However, it could also make the bug a * to track down because it only happens in certain circumstances. 

The inconsistency is worse than none at all in my opinion.

@EA_David Any news on when you will fix this issue? It's hard to play consistently when you don't know if your aim assist works or not in a fight.

@EA_David +, since start of season 17 aimassist doesn't work 70% of the time in all game modes. It's not reacting on some enemys hitboxes for some reason. Makes game literally unplayable as most of the enemys don't have same issue.

Yeah, I hopped on for the first time in about two weeks over the weekend and I just thought I was very rusty lol but no there is definitely something wrong with aim assist. I don't even use alcs or per optics, I simply run 4-3 linear. Sometimes it feels like there is no aim assist at all and other times it's there but it's weak. I wonder if it's a new gen issue? I'm on xbox series x and have been seeing mostly new gen consoles having this issue but I'm not in a position to determine that for sure.
