Aim Assist is bugged

@Dunnoh91 , you took the words right out of my mouth. Yesterday it was working fine and today i felt the exact same way, like they are using me as a test subject to see the effects of mo aim assist. My kd is dropping and i just stopped playing completely. I really hope its just a bug honestly!

Have to report same kind of behaviour; aim assist very inconsistent or simply not there at all. Trying to track targets is suddenly extremely difficult while other players never seem to miss. Maybe that's just frustration bias.

I use per optic settings; Very High for non ADS to get better movement and Very High or High when ADSing. The lurch out of ADS to non-ADS is absurd sometimes.

@EA_David, i can guarantee there is something wrong with the AA. I have been tweaking my settings since day 1 and i can aim and shoot with my eyes closed from the countless hours spent training in the FR. But in game as @Dunnoh91  said i feel like I'm getting beamed while i am playing on 6/6 linear with 0 deadzone. Im on Xbox series X and my friends are divided into a group of non affected people and another group of extremely frustrated people like me who are just hating this. I really hope a fix will come soon. This is the only game i play and i would absolutely hate it if this was a secret AA nerf after putting more than 1000 hours of practice to have to relearn it all from scratch.

@ExTiNkT91 Aim Assist, It Shouldn't Exist In a game that calls itself competitive, for me the Aim assist ruined many FPS that I tried to play (note, I'm a controller player I can't play with keyboard and mouse)
Your question... It's not a BUG. When you don't move your character or your crosshair, the Aim assist is deactivated, there should be no problem because it's a game with constant movement.
(Sniper-only scopes also have no Aim Assist)

@GITS-SACIt IS a bug. And even when I'm moving and strafing, there is no aim assist when there SHOULD be. I've been playing this game daily for 3 years. I know what is normal and what isn't.

I play on console (ps4) and there is no aim assist at all, my aim just won't lock and slow down on enemies.

@EA_David any idea when this bug will be fixed? If you go on to the apex legends Reddit it’s littered with people facing the same issue. Not all players, just some of us. I feel like I’m part of a test group but I literally cannot play the game. AA exists on console for a reason. Fair enough to nerf it on console players in pc lobbies but for casual players this kind of sucks.

Go try it yourself in the firing range. Easily reproduceable. It is broken right now. Whether or not AA is needed in an FPS game has nothing to do with this bug report.
