Aim assist is broken. Only works sometimes.

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Happens everywhere on all maps.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Aiming/shooting at enemies
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? Happened in the very first match, and all matches afterwards.

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? No aim assist AT ALL when shooting at enemies.
What should be happening instead? Aim assist should be kicking in when aiming at enemies.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Easiest way would be to go into Firing Range and aim/ADS side to side over the dummies/bots. You'll notice that some of the bots have aim assist, but some of the other bots will have NO aim assist at all. This happens in all game modes against real players as well.

Aim assist only works maybe 30-40% of the time. Some enemies have aim assist, some don't. Very intermittent. You never really know

This bug also happens in the ps5 console players. Please prioritize fixing this.

I first noticed that my aim felt different in the firing range so I started aiming at different dummies. 

I then noticed that some dummies don’t have aim assist and some of them have aim assist but seems to be weaker than it always was. 

I went into a game and immediately noticed that that the aim assist only seems to work half the time.

What happens when the bug occurs? Seems the aim assist stops working (especially in the firing range) and seems to be worse on the classic response curve

- When aim assist does work it seems to be weaker, it feels like PC values (.4) instead of (.6)

Thanks for the posts. The FR issue is definitely tracked (weirdly, if you go behind a dummy the AA returns) but it looks like the in-game situation is a little more nebulous. There have been reports of it, but it's not as clear as the FR situation.

Would you happen to have any clips saved which might demonstrate the AA failing?

@EA_David There’s quite a few clips on Reddit r/ApexConsole if you want to reference those. Most are in game situations but some are people in the firing range too. This is happening on Xbox as well.

here is a clearer video of the ingame situation. there is no aim assist sometimes on other players, just like the dummies in the FR.

Nearly every fight I’m having on Xbox console has no aim assist whatsoever. I feel like I’m in a hold out test group to see the effect of no aim assist. It’s crazy and making me want to put this game down for good. None of my friends have the issue except me and I don’t know what to do to fix it

@Dunnoh91 This is the frustrating thing. Some people are either not noticing that aim assist is not working or the issue isn't affecting them for whatever reason.

One friend of mine said he hasn't noticed anything unusual but he said "my aim is always bad, so I never thought anything was wrong". It's likely that casual or lesser skilled players won't notice it. But players that are highly competitive will notice the issue immediately.

My friends are on the same settings and console as me and aren’t having the issue. I think it’s only affecting some people. I don’t know what’s going on but the game was a joke for me tonight. One clipped by everyone while I feel like I’m playing on 6/6 linear when I’m 3/2 classic
