Actions get cancelled

When I play, there is a quick "flash" on my screen and all my sims' actions get cancelled. My sims end up standing next to where they were, with no actions in their cue. For example, if they are eating around the table, the screen quickly flashes and all my sims appear standing next to the table doing nothing. The plates are half eaten on the table. I have to set all the actions back.

It seems like the issue has been more frequent recently.

I don't use mods or any custom content.

I asked on the official forum and the issue is happening to other players.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
