What happens when the bug occurs? Sims come home from work/school/after-school activities although their time isn't up and they should be still there. Most of the time they get payed for the time they were at work but sometimes they don't at all. This also gives them performance hits.
What do you expect to see? Sims staying at work/school until their the time is up unless I make them come home early.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

This problem occurs under different circumstances hence it's not a bug as such but more a symptom of an error happening. The symptoms can vary.

• Only some Sims come home
• All Sims come home
• Only the active Sim comes home
• When on a different lot, the Sims do show at work but the progress bar for their work progress in the queue is not showing.

Because of the nature of this, fixing one issue doesn't necessarily fix all instances of it and it can occur again.

Instances where this is caught happening

• Going to CAS
• Sim that is supposed to go to work is on another lot when work starts. They come home when either another household member goes home or if it's the only Sim on the other lot, they appear again as soon as the home lot is loaded.

CURRENT

• [HSY] Sims immediately come home from after school activity when on another lot 
• Loading the Game after exiting

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play the game, it doesn't even have to be a long time.
What happens when the bug occurs? I have 3 sims in a family, 2 of them should be going to work or school at the same time. And then my remaining sim will travel somewhere, like the spa, and when I arrive at the spa. Either both of them or one of them end their work day/school day and go at the spa also. I tried checking if I can still send them to work/school, but nothing.
What do you expect to see? My sims should finish their workday/school day and not follow the traveling sim.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

I've been playing with my one and only mod and I don't have any problem.

I think it started from the last last delivery.

You could see on the screenshots that they ended their work and followed one of my sim at the spa.

You could also see my sim massaging a sim and her arm was backwards, lol.

They are all working now, but it started when the daughter is still a teenager.

And I don't like my sim aging automatically, so I've been playing a long time now having this issue.

@Valeriessima You say like the spa .. does it happen when going to other places ?

Could you please also check on your version number (main menu, lower right corner will tell you what version you're currently on)

I think it also happened before when I go to the bar (Cottage Living), and when I go to a friend's house at Willow Creek.

And my version is 1.89.214.1030

@Valeriessima Trouble with this is that it's more of a symptom so each instances could be different.

Does it happen for you too when you only have two Sims or in other families ?

Hello, so it start happening again.

I have 3 sims in a family actually.

Now the glitch is getting more annoying, because when someone comes with her at the spa, I make them go home,

but only few minutes they will go back again.

Then during that glitch happens, she also twist her hands when massaging or customer go on her lap while doing pedicure.

And bath tub on spa gets broken too. And when I try offering a massage or something, they will just ignore it.

This is too much now, I can't finish my aspiration because of this.

The delivery even made my progress go back to 0.

I thought EA want us me to experience the best one. uggghh

Okay, so after I wrote you my reply.

I restarted sims and play again.

Glitch keeps happening, other sims go home and come back at spa for a few times.

So I just stopped and come home.

And when I come home, my aspiration is AGAIN back to 0.

I really hate this.

Sims are leaving work early when other sims in household travel.

I had this same problem today too.  Two sims, one in the Detective career, one in the culinary career.  Went with the Detective to work, and when he finished his shift, she came home too.

I think it's loading screen related, because I had the same thing happen earlier in the same save when I popped into CAS to adjust an outfit on him while she was at work  (he had the day off)

And while I'm on PC, I am currently Modless (as I remove them before every patch and I haven't put them back yet.)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play any household with multiple members, send one Sim to work, then travel with the other Sim anywhere, then back home. As soon as the travelling Sim comes home, you'll see the problem
What happens when the bug occurs? Any time a Sim is travelling back home from somewhere, all the Sims in their household who are at work also come back home early even if their shift isn't finished
What do you expect to see? All Sims should stay at work until the end of their shift at all times

Ever since the update with the pronouns, this bug has been affecting my Sims.

They also can't travel to work from anywhere else, as they automatically arrive home when the POV comes back there.

It doesn't affect children at school, just adults at work
