I'm sorry @makanimah that it took so long but RL got in the way :D

Anyways, I've tested this and weirdly enough, there was an option to have the baby at the hospital even though the SIm was already there.

So I did these steps which worked for me

• Check in at the front desk --> nothing happens
• Have baby at the hospital --> will still not trigger
• Check in at the front desk again --> This should trigger the interaction to go have the baby

I did try with just checking in and just having the baby and both didn't work so I guess all three are needed

I believe that the mod messed something up.

Hi, after reading through these comments I decided on a solution myself. You need to click on your sim and chose the option go home. When you arrive at home, click on your sim and chose the option ‘have baby at hospital’ then let your sim do it’s own thing and she will eventually do it herself. Hope this solved yor problem! If you have any other issues with this I’m not sure what to do!

I just had this issue happen and decided to look it up. I've tried to check in at the front desk and the girl just nods, then nothing happens. Not sure how this hasn't been fixed after 4 years.

It's one of these issues that seem to only happen from time to time. I myself haven't had any issues in a very long time.

Do you have the doctors stuck outside ? Did you try checking in just once ?

For me this problem occured after the latest updates (patch from April 16th & 19th). My sim is at the hospital with the father of her baby. She has been at the hospital for several sim-hours, and still no birth has happened. But only the reseptionist is at work, no other staff, like doctor or nurses.

Update: My sim finally gave birth, after almost 24 sim-hours.

Are you using any mods ? Have any overstuff households ? > 8 ?

Did you check if they're stuck somewhere ?

No mods. I reset my sim several times. I just had 4 Sims in my household, 5 with the baby.

You did check in with the receptionist ?
