Random Lag In Build Mode/Live Mode [ Edited ]

This lag only started after the November patch. The game was fine except during that wallpaper lag bug before.

Found a weird workaround; just open the options menu and close it. If you get lag in CAS, Build mode, or live mode just press ESC/click the options menu icon and then close it. The lag should be gone. This is really weird.

Simply saving the game fixed this issue for me, at least for a while since it keeps coming back. So, I've decided to regularly save my game in order to solve this issue. Thank you so much!

fingers crossed for the sims 5, god I wish there was a competitor. if nba live can exist surely a sims alternative is viable

Okay I'm litterly done with the Sims 4, after almost 6 whole months there is stil no fix! (also after today's update)

are you going by the patch notes or did you test your game ?

I just tested my 4th generation family sim lag is still there.

No mods but mcc or cc this is a new high end pc.

For me the issue started when get to work came out and all is fine till you get some play time in.

I have tried all the tricks but my playstyle is sticking to one family.

Why dont they instead of releaseing pack after packs fix these issues to many to list.

I am afraid to buy more packs or expansions cause I read that make things worse.

What kind of lags ? Sims Standing around or just slow game play ?
