100% CPU , never had this issue before update

The season 10 just started and cpu is again 100%, my fix no longer works.

well I have that problem since genesis update so no apex for me more than a month and it still continues

I think i finally found the fix to 100%CPU bug

My steps to fix it :
1. After update complete, open the game just stay at lobby for 15 - 30 minutes (you can just alt tab or doing something)
2. Play 1 game (either ranked / arena / trios)
3. die soon / tryhard to win
4. exit to desktop, relaunch the game, wait for 15 minutes again in the lobby
5. repeat step 2 - 3
6. My CPU went from 100 to 30 in lobby now

I also ran into this problem back in season 9 after the first event. They ignore me in russian forum, so i think it`s better to write a review here. I can`t play for more than one month, i lost rewards from last battlepass and events. I realy hope that the developers will hear us and fix this error. I also hope that some kind of compensation will be paid to the injured, because it will be fair.

i'm having soo much trouble about the new bug i just got its 100% ugages of cpu..im almost going to hit 1000 hours on apex legends..i didnt had trouble since then till last 5-6 days.. please fix this bug..

This is an issue that is being investigated, but there are a few potential resolutions.

• If you're using an Nvidia graphics card, try updating the drivers using the Express method. Then, launch the game from the GeForce Experience.
• Update your CPU drivers with the instructions here. 
• It's possible this is related to Windows Defender. These instructions may help.
• This could also be related to EasyAntiCheat. Take a look at this fix that worked for another player.

Came here to give u quick solution if u have 100% CPU usage, when u launching the game. Go to Disk C - > Users - > User ->Saved Games -> Respawn -> Apex - > Delete "assets" folder. Launch game, go in firerange and wait till usage gone. After this 100% CPU usage wont appear again on the next launch
