DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG with RTX 2080

★ Novice

Product: Apex Legends
Platform:PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
AMD or Nvidia Model Number RTX 2080

What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Wardog1-502
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible.
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Bangalore
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Airbase
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Just killed an enemy
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? I don't know
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 6

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No repro steps available, this is a rare occurrence and only happens to me once out of every 100+ matches (rough estimate).

This crash still happens occasionally on the current build.  Very rare, happens only once every 100+ matches.  No overlocks of anything in my system, card is a stock Nvidia RTX 2080.

Popup error and dxdiag attached.  Additional errors from event log pasted below:

Another update, April 9th. Latest Drivers from nVidia and Windows Update.

Barely any background apps running.

Still crashing without error (although I do get the Windows "sound" chime)

It's getting better, Respawn, but is still a thorn in our sides!

Here is the text dump.

Another crash. Seemingly less frequent, but once they start the seems to keep going until a restart or a "repair" game occurs, then I can go another half dozen to dozen games before another crash.

May 14th, still crashing as consistently as ever. Been the same for over a month now. Was more frequent before that.

Again, system is stable in all stress tests and any other game doesn't crash.
