Same thing has happened to me a few times randomly in the game.

I made a reply on an older post, but it got buried under all the other replies so I am making this new post. Every time I try and open up the game and go to the menu the game either freezes, or gives me that error in the title. I don't know what is going on, so please help me. I haven't even seen the menu, much less play the game. DxDiag attached.

gigabyte rtx 2060

i5 6600k

16GB of crucial 2400MHz RAM

FIXED

Rolled back my driver to 417.71 and reinstalled the game :

1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Performance and Maintenance and then System (in Category view) or System (in Classic view)
4. Select the Hardware Tab
5. Click Device Manager
6. Double-click on Display Adapters
7. Double-click on your NVIDIA GPU
8. Select the Driver Tab
9. Click on Roll Back Driver

I rolled back my driver to 417.XX and hopefully that'll solve it.  Also repaired the game file.

Same error, pic attached. Happens 20-40% of the time making the game unplayable. 

Running RTX 2080Ti. Exact screen when the error occurred attached.

I manged to fix it using a rolled back driver.

WAS USING: 418.81

FIXED WITH: 417.35

Fast way is to go to Add and Remove Programs and picked the NVIDIA Driver.

Geek way is do go the DDU way.
