incredibly slow download speeds

I started downloading BF1 this afternoon, but the download speeds are SO BAD, I am using EA Desktop by the way. Origin does the same. I have a 25mbps connection(3MB/S), I dont know WHY but the speeds fluctuate from 1,50MB/s(megabytes, not megabits) to 2,60MB/s Other apps download fine at full speed but EA Desktop is like, no. And yes, i have closed apps that may be downloading. I also checked my wifi router, and saw no data usage from other devices. Help ME PLEASE!

Hey, @d3luxyy 

It might be a program running in the background causing the download to slow down. Can you try a clean boot and then immediately launch EA Desktop as administrator? Let me know if you see any changes.

@EA_Darko so do you have any solutions for EA Desktop App because my credit card was just charged for EA Play Annual but the first game I tried downloading isn't downloading. Need for Speed: Heat

I used NordVPN to go to a different country and now its super fast downloading. From 128 KB/s to 10MB/s.

I even tried the clear Origin cache and dns and restart networkign and rebooting, none of those fixed it.

I also have this issue and my internet is 100mbit and no other download going on in the background.

I've already tried doing the instructions here:   https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports-Technical-Issues/Address-game-download-install-issues/m-p/9862...   which i think made the issue worse!    I've submitted a error report using the option from the EA desktop menu.

Just an update.

I tried the solution above about a clean boot, but that did not fix the issue.

However it appears to be working again.  It might be one of a couple of things.   When re-enabling some startup programs, i never enabled some razor programs such as Synapse 3, Cortex launcher, gameglass launcher and also updated the nvidia drivers to the latest 471.11.  The app then crashed twice and gave me the option to recover.  Something changed to put my downloads back to full speed.

@BiohaZd I get 20KB/s unless I use a VPN to connect in the Netherlands, then I get 22MB/s. I've tried all the copy/pasted suggestions by the community team here and in other threads.

There's something afoot here.
