EA Desktop Freezes on Launch

Summarize your bug Launching EA Desktop causes the window to freeze.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch EA Desktop
What happens when the bug occurs? The launch window stays frozen using 31.9MB of RAM, it is not possible to close the window without forcing it to shutdown using task manager however the X in the top right corner still turns white and back to grey when you hover over and off of it meaning the window is still active to an extent.
What do you expect to see? Once again I don't understand what this question is supposed to be specific to.
