Lost all my collected stars after linking Facebook account

Hi 

I was on level 28 and had almost 40 stars collected but when I linked my Facebook account I lost all my stars I had but was still on level 28. Is there any way of solving this problem. I have already deleted and reinstalled but it didn’t help
