How do you pause a game during play in Bejeweled Blitz?

How do you pause a game in Bejeweled Blitz? I haven't been able to figure out how since the upgrade.

There is a square button with 2 horizontal lines at the top of the game

on the PC and mobile games that opens a pause/resume setting.

Tap that button and the game pauses.
