Game Freeze

Can't play after the update - the game freezes on the screen after it has an invite prompt. It changes all the data at the top bar into other numbers comprised of mostly nines and won't close. When I try it again, same thing happens. Is there a fix for this? It's unplayable.

@OliviaOxen Can you check that you have the most up to date version and that you have sufficient free space for any update,

It claims to be v1.2.11 and there's loads of space . . . Monday, around ten PDT, I got the update and played a few games, then closed it. A few hours later, I started getting the chest freeze and it's doing that to this day. I am on Vista windows, using a computer. I get the invite prompt first, then it makes me click on an arrow and changes and blacks out the top bar.  All those stats are much higher than my real ones after playing this game for years now.
