Bejewelled 3-Sept 18 2018 update destroyed ability to play

Played this a few days ago and now unable to. Windows 10 sees it as an X box game and puts the game overlay on first and I get error violation report to PopCap and then unable to do that.  Can Microsoft and Origin sort this out please.

Chat cannot help and ALL options tried, It was a Freebie but now I keep getting the option to Download.

Also SIMS 2 ultimate does not play and I bought ALL the packs for that.   I did buy All of Sims 4 but this is the end of buying from EA for me. I cannot trust them.

This is not a request for help. This is a general rant as I am sick and tired of games being unable to play when I have bought them. Can you get Microsoft to make a Virtual CD app which it actually has done in past times?
