I also had this problem and have had a VERY frustrating and ultimately fruitless email exchange with EA Worldwide customer Experience.
They finally accepted it was a known fault
I got right through to 25,000 Blue Bats and got no rewards - they offered me 200 coins as compensation.
At 500 I should have had infinite lives. a purple gem ,a red gem and a white gem
At 2500 I should have had infinite lives. a purple gem ,a red gem and a white gem and a blue gem
At 15000 I should have had infinite lives. a green gem ,a yellow gem and an orange gem plus a flame swapper gem and a scrambler gem
at 25000 I should have had 200 coins a hammer gem a stare swapper gem and a blazing steed gem
They think 200 coins is a suitable offer -
VERY VERY FRUSTRATED CUSTOMER
If you are not going to give customer service - don't even try.

Just an update on this. My complaint finally got escalated to the specialist team. They already knew about the problem and sorted me out with enough coins to buy all the gems and specials that I had earned. It was really really hard work getting them to escalate it but once it got to the specialist team they dealt with it very quickly. Kudos to Mark in the specialist team.

Hi - I didn't expect to see this case again! Can I just suggest you file a ticket from the game itself. Go to settings, help and about then click help to take you to the web page where you will have the "contact Us" option. Then be prepared for a struggle to get anywhere. I took me ages.
