I need help restoring my progress in my game

I need help restoring my battlefield 5 progress. I can't get on the EA chat room because it won't let me click the platform option. I got a new PC and transfered my games and info. I logged into Xbox with my account just fine. On the Xbox profile I can see my battlefield progress but when I logged in to EA and linked that account. It's not showing any progress saying I have 0 hours but it's linked to my Xbox account. I'm at a lose on what to do.

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to access your Battlefield V Xbox progress on PC. Unfortunately, it's not possible to transfer your progress from one platform to another in Battlefield V. If you would like to play on PC, you will have to start from the beginning.

But it's through Xbox game pass? And it's making me link my Xbox account in order to download it. I'm not playing on PC like steam. I'm downloading it through Xbox game pass.

The accounts need to be linked in order to access EA Play subscription from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on PC.  Unfortunately, it does not transfer, your Battlefield V in-game progress between Xbox and PC.
