Character dark in customization screen

Summarize your bug The character's are so dark I can not see them. Only by turning DX12 off and severely hurting my performance can I get them to show up.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have AMD and DX12 enabled and look at the character screen.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't see my characters.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to see my characters.

I have the exact same problem and this only started to occur with the release of chapter 5. My graphics card drivers are up to date and when turning off directX 12, the models show up dark when going into the character/vehicle customization screen.

Specs:

Cpu: Ryzen 5 2600x

Graphics card: rx480

ram: 16gb

Hope this can help with fixing the problem.

I've had the same problem ever since I tried to use DirectX 12. I too own an AMD GPU, it seems to be an AMD only issue. Afaik this is has been in the game for a long while now.
