Battlefield 5 ps4 weapon skins not unlocking

I’m unlocking more and more skins for weaponry but I simply can’t equip the skins even though I’ve unlocked them. The ‘customize’ menu simply states ‘complete special assignment’ despite having done those assignments already.

This goes for ALL weapon skins since I started playing and I’ve completed the assignment days ago while my friend gets his new weapon skins instantly 

Example: my grease gun is level 10 with multiple gold skins supposedly unlocked. I can’t equip any of the skins such as the predator set nor the urban blue set. Let alone the golden skins…

I’m playing on PS4

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated
