I can't belive this isn't fixed. It was an issue in battlefield 1 and it continues to be an issue in battlefield 5. I specified my audio to settings to use my headset for battlefield 5, but battlefield 5 seems to completely ignore that and use the default device. Furthermore, you cannot change device while ingame because it completely ignores that.
This was asked for in battlefield 1 as well but apparently devs are apparently completely ignorant of this, let us choose output device ingame.

So, I decided to check this out myself. It works fine here, is this the place where you change the default audio device?

What version of Windows 10 are you running? Can you attach a screenshot of the command "winver" within CMD?
edit: Certain versions of Windows 10 do not full functionality.
