I think I found what the issue was

In my case, the solution for the problem was downloading frosty fix 4.1.0

Run it and click on ea desktop then disable mods,

then again origin - disable mods

global - disable mods

that's it

Battlefield 5 Wont launch

★ Novice

When I launch BFV from beta the app closes and no bf5 window opens. When I try to reopen EA beta it doesn't create a window. I have to click the bf5 shortcut for beta to open and when it does, it gives me a notification that bf5 is already running. From there I have to restart the app to get back to square 1. I've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling both EAbeta and bf5 and restarting my computer. Nothing has worked so far.

Hey @Cheizur,

May I ask how you own BFV exactly? Is this a standalone copy, or did you claim it via EA Play via Xbox Game Pass?

Unfortunately I'm still having the same problem - the game doesn't launch, EA closes and when I relaunch I get the notification that its already running

For what it's worth, my issue was reinstalling windows and the game and having old config data/files stored in OneDrive, which was backed up in my Documents folder automatically. Deleting the Battlefield V folder in that directory (C:\Users\%username%\Documents) resolved the issue
