What kind or error message do you get and are you using any kind of VPN? You should make sure that your firewall/antivirus software is not blocking Origin, Hardline or the Battlelog webplugin.

what if punkbuster doesnt give you a specific error and just says "error, you're been kicked from this server by punkbuster"

I've noticed a couple other solved threads about this issue. I know this is an old thread, but haven't seen what worked for me posted. I tried all suggestions. The one that finally worked for me was going straight to the punkbuster website. There's a download for it there, and you get a punkbuster updater. Add each game individually, and it will update all punkbuster elements for that game. In my case, four games. Once I did that, it runs fine, and I ain't been kicked once. Hope that helps.
