Needing help urgent

Hey I have issue with campain I’m at where lady cop gets shot I hold the wound and when killers come in I shoot at em and they don’t die I have verified the game I have started all over again I updated windows and still have same issue plzz help I just spent a lot of money to get the game and like for it to work thank you I’m on pc
