I had this issue after I didnt play for some years and now wanted to try it out again. 

Between I used EA Access for short which added another link to the game for the Ultimate Edition but I tried to play my Digital Deluxe Edition. 

 

What I did to fix it: 

- Completely removed the Ultimate Edition via right-click - Remove from Library 

- Right-Click on my owned edition - Repair 

 

I didnt do anything with the Origin client or anything language related. In my case it seems the error should be related to a "wrong or not owned game edition".
