What would make you buy the next Battlefield 6 ?

I really hope they do not mess this next battlefield up like they did with both BF1 and BFV.
Or could it be the end of the franchise if we get yet another flop coming out?

My wishes for the next Battlefield game are:

  • We need a clean launch - with quality over quantity.  Just getting Conquest and Rush modes, and I would be happy.  (Conquest just one round please)
  • An absolute must-have is a proper working anti-cheat system!  Get them off the platform!
  • Modern game play in a fictional near-future setting.
  • Levolution - bigger and more of it.
  • Weapons and vehicles that enable epic battlefield moments.  (and not stuck on silly prefixed tracks)
  • Soldier ranking up and weapon/vehicle unlock system like in BF4 and just a Premium option (pay once and we are done with it)
  • The weapon accessories/attachments system in BF4 was actually very good. Ability to customize the weapon to your own preferential handling.
  • No 'no-skills' lock-on weapons.  (aka no active radar missiles please)
  • Vehicles to spawn in base and no silly long animations to get in or out of them.
  • Proximity chat enabled, so you can communicate with your friendlies just around you, not just your own squad.
  • A server rental program, for renting/setting up dedicated servers with custom game parameters
So what are your top priorities for EA to put into the BF6 game for you to buy it?

Hahaha OK @DerDoktorMabuse ,

Sounds like BF5 was a seriously bad traumatic experience for you?  😃

The best therapy for most of us have been to go back to BF4 for some proper gaming.

From day 1

Anti cheat

Teambalancer

Dedicated servers

Dedicated servers for rent

Content road map

Consistent communication from the developers

Battlefield 5 gunplay

Battlefield 5 style resupply stations

Commander mode from inside a match (BF2 style) instead of it launching as a separate executable (BF4 style)

Battlefield 4 style customisation (being able to customise everything from in a match and without having ot wait for a vehicle to be available to customise it)

Proximity chat

Improved ping system from Battlefield 5 instead of 3D spotting returning

Comm rose that's actually useful

Little to no lock on weapons

More AA options including turning AA off.

Not all of these are essential for me buying the game and I'll probably htink of more after posting but these would be preferred.

This goldfish still remembers the debacle of BFV's opening days , but now , after a few hundred laps around the bowl-that-got-better . . .

These days I swim towards the future and not away from the past like I did before .

What would make me buy BF6?

Its release .

BF V gunplay is awful.

I hope they go back to BF4 style where weapons behaved as they should. Suppression worked, proper bullet drop.

BF4 Style hardcore.

Anti-cheat with hardware banning. Due to how bad it is in BFV I would want this as No1 priority.

BF4 Style spotting.

Huge maps

BF4 style weapon unlock system.

Lots of vehicles plus horses.

Definitely NO loot boxes.NO in-game purchases.

Did I mention ANTI CHEAT?

An Anti-cheat that works.

Private servers that can run pro-con so Admin can stop cheating as I have no faith in EA to resolve this issue.

The second EA / DICE state it doesn't have aim assist and PC cross-play $

If it had aim assist, I would try it, but the second I hear PC cross-play, nope, never, Bad Feedback. One thing I know to never do, Don't ever EVER play a Battlefield titles on PC.

No proximity spotting. That's when you aim roughly in enemies direction and red icon shows up, hiding in mud or bushes was so much easier so you could go on sneaky kill time before it was added in battlefield 5.

A true official hardcore mode with servers.

Proximity VOIP for vehicles is a must but I'm open to infantry VOIP too as long as you have option to mute individuals easily with UI icons showing names. With limits on how much you talk to avoid music spammers.

Also smashing through objects with armoured vehicles should be more consistent. Small metal boxes blocking my tiger bro.

Tone down sniper glint or remove completely.

Firestorm was great, until the cheaters and bugs stopped that.

Let me know if you would like the ex-Firestorm Vets to help playtest your next attempt at a BR client, Im talking the top 10 players, just look at the BF tracker stats, and yes I am one of those.

As for the main game, I agree BF3/BF4 were great great games.
