unable to log in [ Edited ]

1. Launch Battlefield Bad Company 2: Vietnam.
2. Log in to your Battlefield Bad Company 2 EA account.
3. Press the Vietnam button.
4. Log in again.
5. Enter the code you were provided.

These are EA's instructions to log into and play battlefield 2 vietnam.  They do not work for me.  I am constantly being told that I cannot log in and to try again later.  I've been trying for over 2 weeks now.
