Massive BF4 fan here who's waited for a return to proper BF (y'know with modern guns and choppers etc) after the no-gos of WW1 and WW2 (Yawn)...

so great, loved the beta, the graphics are (mostly) amazing, the atmosphere is intense (storms and rain - interiors of choppers and tanks), I think it COULD become my favourite BF yet (BF3 was my first).

BUT... this mode, it looks like it could be intense fun, but ONLY if you actually know and can calmly sort out who's playing what, doing what, and extracting when. It seems very complex and highly unlikely any 'solo' player is going to have any fun at all in this mode with randoms, which means 75% of your playerbase won't touch it.

In conquest you can still contribute greatly, feel worthy, PTO and be top of the board/win for your team even as a somewhat 'lone wolf' type player (who plays well with others and helps the team out) no complex decisions or pre-game chit chat required. HZ seems to be exclusively fun only for people with 4 actual friends who play BF!?

Now.... I'm sure it'll be great for those who've wanted proper co-cop play, but for the solo players, who are paying just as much for the game as these clans and friend teams, how can we enjoy this mode?

Can you PLEASE consider adapting the gameplay/rules into a seperate solomode (I don't think we need 2/3/5/6 squad sizes as even 2 RL friends on a random squad is gonna help somewhat) so just SOLO mode and OG mode, please? in SOLO mode it could be "every soldier for themselves' instead of 'squad'. Reduce the play area and win conditions, load out the essential gear to every player (max 8 players like 8 squads) and let them choose their own weapons as usual.

BF seems to be lacking ANY decent solo fun right now? Even TDM has been removed?? (yeah we have portal but.. fragmentation?) I mostly played conquest in BF4 (700+ hours rank 140 and always PTO!), so I get the 'team' aspect of BF, but to actively REMOVE solo fun (ok you may have improved it somewhat in actual conquest with specialists vs classes.. maybe) with no TDM then to make the great new HZ mode of no use to solos/randoms seems like a step back.a

If you have any way possible to empower lone wolves and solo players just looking for fun to enjoy THIS mode, please make it so. It won't gain much traction if everyone feels alienated by 'having' to know 3 players well to decide even something as rudimentary as what specialist you are all going to play as (how would that even work with randoms? nobody is gonna listen to another random telling them to pay as falk if they want mckay ffs!). Nice concept, possibly badly executed from a social engineering POV.

I hope you guys can add something like a hideout or base that shows our equipment and weapons (shooting range that we can try out our weapon). That will make it more engaging and worth playing with your squad. Also maybe finding rare loot along the way to the data drives. Im so hyped for this mode, I see the potential. I just feel like its so much more you guys can do to make this next level! Keep up the great work!

@xXDedman00Xx I'd hope the rewards are that the game is fun as hell to play. No one gives a poop what your sick skins look like and if that is your only reason to play games, well, that's kind of weird.

@Straatford87 The Giant's Fall!

EA listen to your community

Well, it seems that one more release EA won't listen to its community and it seems that it can't understand how the FPS market works. We saw in games like Fortnite and Warzone, mainly Warzone as the game being F2P helped in the sale of the CoD franchise games and the players' expenses within the warzone itself, with cosmetics and other things.
Other than that, but for EA profit is the only important thing, the engagement of these games is something huge and how they are accepted by the various communities, this is something that no EA game can do.
Is Ponto one more failure in sales compared to its competitors?
I believe so, as it was seen that the experts were not accepted by the community, so, THERE IS THE CHANCE to revert everything to normal mode leaving the classes and to HAZARD ZONE the experts... Hey EA, you can't see a palm in front of the money?
Don't you realize that if you make the Hazard Zone free, it will gather a lot of people, you will buy the game and everyone will talk? for love, the secret of success is there, and it's been years and you haven't been able to see it?
So it's the fall of a giant that didn't even have your assent, as they were more critical of PRAISE

The Giant's Fall! And the hazard zone call starts like this Greetings, Fatherland No! And that would be fantastic and it would fit perfectly into the game's theme, with the experts, but now, tell me, what's the point of deleting as classes and putting the experts in normal mode? I'll dispute this very lightly No Patria, but you play for the US or Russia side... Both times have the same skin and uniform color ... Lost the sense of homeland: v, because you defend one side: v Exodus explains to explain this, but no, it fails. Well, EA, there is a chance and the chabe of success, leave the specialists only for the HZ and the normal mode returns to the classes, and well do this F2P mode, because I guarantee you are in front of the warzone and will be very accepted by the community , because it doesn't make sense this way to be paid. But well, if you don't pay attention to this little detail, the giant will fall, because the game had everything to be a success, but you grotesquely fail in every release, will this be another one? Will this be another one that you will close yourself to what the community asks for? Here's a brief review, could point out much more details to be corrected to be a success, but if you first look at your community and make this a successful bf.

Personally I think joining a bunch of randoms is great fun, as long as there is open chat between the squad (please no push to talk - too much to do with my 60+ year hands!)

Not a great fan of WarZone, but never fail to have a laugh on a Friday night in BR quads when the pubs have emptied! No need to be shy, its fun!

I noticed hazard zone has changed a little bit from what's described here. Example: data drive scanner is still in the options for tactical items, but the data drives are revealed from the start around the map.

What I'm trying to do is build a custom mod through the battlefield portal to mimic hazard zone - kind of like a training mode if you will, but the rules editor is sorely lacking in documentation.

Anyone have an idea of a good reference source of the portal rules editor or mod map developers site to check out?

EA, you got something like this that I might have missed?

Thanks!
