I bought Battlefield 4 a few hours ago and whenever I start it and try to play multiplayer I just get the "failed to connect to EA online" message.
I deleted and re-installed BF4 & origin, "repaired bf4", updated it, ran origin & bf4 in administrator mode, changed battlefield from (x64) to (x86) in the settings.
I've really been looking forward to playing battlefield on pc after switching from console and any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I somehow fixed it by "factory restoring" my computer.
