origin friends not showing up in battlefield

Me and some friends have been playing Battlefield 4 recently but for some reason one of us cannot see any of the others except one guy in the battlefield app. He can see us online in Origin but not in-game. Our only way of playing together is to get the one specific friend to make a squad and everybody join them, so it's really a hassle. How do we fix this?

Yep we tried that. We looked everywhere and found no answers but we did eventually get it fixed by unfriending each other on Origin then sending a friend request through the Battlelog, which also made us friends again on origin again. Now we can see each other as we should have been able too

@ThePuffinLord have you all checked that your friends setting in game is not invisible? Open origin go to the friends tab and check this in "set status".
