constantly kicked from every server by punk buster

hmm, i got the error and then looked it up and found the manual update and then it fixed it. i would reinstall everything like you said and see if that fixes it.

I've tried the "fix" and still nothing is working even on reinstall.

When I first go on battlefield 4 the message came up so when I try to play battlefield 4 it comes up so I can not play battlefield 4 and I am on i7 and have a alienware laptop ( which it the best) and has windows 7 so what is wrong I did contact the origin help thing and did what he told me to do his name was ankit but still nothing so I have to play battlefield 4 so please help me!!

I tried the Beta today for the first time, and receiving a similar issue. 

I played for about 2-3 minutes before I was kicked from a server for Punk Buster with a timeout error. 

Now trying to connect I received a 'kicked' error and then:

Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'xxxxxxxxx' (for 0 minutes) ... RESTRICTION: Service Communication Failure: PnkBstrB.exe initialization failed

Reinstalling does nothing, appears to be an ongoing issue - despite the post saying its resolved.

I have Windows 8 and it was kicking me out constantly.  Appears to be fixed after running Punkbuster in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

I followed same instructions that one of the guys on following thread did for BF3.

go to your Origin folder and find where is installed Battlfield folder, then goto __Installer\punkbuster\redist, rightclick on pbsvc.exe file, select in context menu 'Propeties' and goto tab 'Compatibility' and check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for: windows xp sp3 or windows 7'. Click 'apply' or 'ok'. 

Seemed to work okay on my machine after doing that.

that shouldn't make a difference as its another service that is invoked when you load BF, that file pbsvc.exe is the punk buster installation service. 

I've already run a punk buster test multiple times, and its connecting just fine. It appears to be a BF4 bug. 

Have also tried a reinstall of Punk Buster just on its own also, and explicitly allowed it through the firewall (though it was communicating via NAT just fine anyway)

Still having this problem.  I've tried the manual fix.  No go.  Tried re-installing.  What's the deal here?

Tried reinstalling. Reinstall punkbuster. Disable firewalls/antivrus, disable router firewall. Same result.
