I played battlefield 4 on my Playstation 4 and put close to 1500 hours into the game. Eventually, I got the Playstation 5 and I have not played Battlefield 4 on it. Yesterday I had the urge to play the game so I downloaded the PS4 version and all the expansion packs onto my Playstation 5 (I did this for free since I had purchased it on my PS4). Today I went to play it, the game opened fine and I am able to play the campaign offline but I am unable to connect to EA online to play multiplayer. I have purchased an EA Play subscription on my PS5 which I learned is the new version of EA origins. Still nothing works. It just says "FAILED TO CONNECT TO EA ONLINE" and "Online features will be unavailable. Please try again. See https://help.ea.com/article/not-able-to-connect-to-online-play for additional information." I went to that website and it was no help whatsoever. My EA account is linked to my PSN account as well. I really just want to play this game that I love, any help at all in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, @theotherguys911
The PlayStation Network is currently experiencing an outage. Once their service is restored, you should be good to play again. You can keep an eye on the PSN's status here - https://status.playstation.com/.

Thank you @EA_Aljo for the quick response and info. Hopefully once they’re back up everything will be good.
