Phantom Prospect assignment not working on ps3 after unlocking it...

I've unlocked the "Phantom Prospect" assignment and have it tracked on battlelog, but it's not registering my kills. I've had about 100 assault rifle kills and a 300+ meter headshot but when I check battlelog, everything is zero for the assignment.

I've played in both conquest and team deathmatch but neither counted my kills with assault rifles.

This is a common error sometimes tracking the assignment will work but may not in which case I am sorry nothing else can be done.
