(PS3) Premium upgrade not recognized

I have just purchased the "Battlefield 4 Premium - PC EA app" code for the Premium upgrade, and redeemed the code in my EA Account (which my Playstation account is linked).

I just tried booting up Battlefield 4 on my PS3, and it is not recognizing the Premium upgrade.

Is there a way that this can be fixed, or at a least a work around for me to download the appropriate DLC?

Hi @teeseeemm BF3 doesn't have cross-progression as it's too old a title (only Battlefield 2042 has it). This unfortunately means that the Premium Pass which you bought will only appear on PC.

Thanks for the quick response. 

I am a little confused however. When accessing the Battlelog online (via web browser), it is showing that my PS account is at Premium status.

When starting up BF4 (PS3), it is not registering the Premium status, nor allowing me to connect to the Battlelog. Could that be the issue?

@teeseeemm That seems to be a visual error as Battlelog doesn't show Premium for your PS3 when I check. I'm sorry to say that as the Premium Pass is platform specific and there's no cross-progression, it's just not going to work on PS3 as it was bought for PC.

Depending on where you bought it, it may be worth seeing if you can get a refund. Please note though that it's not refundable under EA's Great Game Guarantee.

@teeseeemm DLC for older Battlefield titles is platform specific. You will not gain Premium access on PS3 if you only have Premium on PC. I played BF4 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbone, and PC and had to purchase the DLC on each platform to access it regardless of what Battlelog showed.

Battlelog likley showed you as Premium for all platforms as you were considered Premium for the purpose of stat resets on Battlelog which was a selling point for Premium at the time.
