On ps4 If i press the ps button while playing multiplayer then

my controller wont work in game as if the controller was dead but it isnt dead, it will work on the playstation menu just not in battlefield whats more the game isnt frozen it keeps going on only my controller is frozen
EDIT: the only way i can fix it is to close the application

Im having the same issues here, after I hit the PS button i get back to the game and my controller locks up but the game still continues to go on, If i get a notification while in game I have to wait till its over
