Hi @indexxp ,
Depending on which gaming platform that you are on, you simply contact one of the relevant server hosting partners and pay them to host your BF4 server. Despite that you might be technically skilled and have your own hardware and low latency Internet line 24/7, then there is no way for you to host your own server on your own infrastructure.
It would though have been great if that was possible, but it isn't today and dont think that EA will go that way with their IP.

Thank you for your answer.
if I may, we have a problem here then, I mean, due to the sheer distance, playing on a US based server is not viable for South America.
São Paulo in Brazil is the largest city of the continent and its neighboring areas host over 11 million people as of 2021. São Paulo is 8h flight away from florida! we get kicked quite fast from all the servers! very soon, the only option will be playing campaign mode or LAN...
pls help

I play from Tenerife, no issues.Very rarelly I will get kicked for a high ping rate but that's not very often TBPH.

Perhaps this is an option @EA_Atic :::
I run my own dedicated servers for business and can easily open one up for gaming. What would be required ?
What are the ideal server requirements?

Hi @Harl3quin ,
Spain have laid huge fiber optic links from the European continent out to the Canary Islands, incl to Tenerife. So your ping rate to our European hosted BF4 servers (NL hosted for PlayStation) is typically max in the 35-65ms range. So perfectly fine for the BF4 gaming.
It is an entirely different matter when we talk about aka South America based players, in locations like Brazil/Chile/Peru... Just because of the absolute geographic long distances, first to USA hosted servers but especially to connect with European based servers, makes their ping go up in the several hundreds of ms. Matter of fact, causing the game servers to rubberband, hit registration going lost and ultimately may at times crash the servers with all connected players along with it... (aka ping rates of 600-1,800+ ms on European servers are being measured)
