Hi my battlelog won't let me edit tags and doesn't seem connected to my xbox account what can i do ?

Hi @PhantomPain4532!
To have your xbox account connected to your ea account you simply have to sign in a online Ea game, on your xbox, with your Ea account.

You can check the linked account on your ea account page.

Regarding emblems, have you tried to edit it through the new web app?
