For those having the "Cannot connect to EA Online" on PC

The solution that worked for me was:

1. Search for the services app in your computer.

2. Once open, scroll down until you find a service called PnkBstrA, and PnkBstrB. (This is BF4's anti-cheat 'PunkBuster' and it must be running to play online.)

3. If one OR both aren't running, right click them and click "Start"

I've had this problem in years past but forgot about this solution until just now. Good luck everyone!

Hello,

So after playing battlefield 4 with some friends for 3 hours I decided to take a break. I come back to the game and well, now I cannot connect to the game servers. What happens exactly is that I press play game launches says all its little menu loading messages, then it says connecting. The main menu loads with; "Looks like you're offline! How about some Campaign?" and then a little button that says "GO ONLINE". Pressing that button does nothing. 

Things I have tried:

1. Restarted my pc
2. Restarted my router
3. Verified Game files
4. Fresh wipe and install of BF4
5. Signed out of Origin 
6. Fully closed Origin
7. Deleted the BF4 Folder under "My Games"
8. Spamming the "GO ONLINE" button for 1 hour straight 

Things I did try:

1. Play the Campaign while figuring out how to do this.

If anyone has any advice please, this game is a great time and I would really enjoy playing it more with my friends.

I logged in this morning on a whim. It now works completely fine. What the heck.
