all the same here for me at first

my rig is as follows:

geforce gtx 560

cpu amd phenom 2 x4 970 3.5 mhz

8 gb ram

currently i am using the old beta driver 331.40 and of course i tried the new one at first..

changed to frame rate 50 hz and window mode, now the system seems to run, but hell who wants to play in window mode^^

edit: window mode is fine^^

also tried a little around with the settings but than it gets unstable again, just leave it simple .. low settings :/

Worked for me in 50hz , windowed mode (which you can expand by your handy dandy mouse Wink ) on nvidia drivers 331.40 beta.
Rig:
GTX 770 asus
Intel 2500K 4,5 Ghz
6 GB RAM

Nvidia inspector : Base Clock -60 MHz

                             Memory Clock -100 MHz

The way I fixed this problem for myself was by reinstalling my drivers.

I have a GTX 770 and I'm running the latest beta drivers. I had them before but perhaps the installation was corrupted. Try reinstalling the drivers through the GEForce Experience program.

This error only happens in BF4, it is 100% game related and needs to be fixed ASAP. None of my other games give me this error, and I play other taxing DX11 games. My card is 100% stable and doesn't overheat, no matter what I do I still get this error. The game doesn't communicate with my GTX 650 Ti BOOST as it should.

Underclocking or running in windowed mode is no excuse nor a solution. If this doesn't get fixed a refund is in order.

Try this until EA fixes their game.

From what I can tell, when my GPU memory use reaches approx 1600 megabytes of VRAM use I get this error.

DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason"

The game on High and even Ultra runs very smooth until the crash.

Lowering the settings to medium and/or playing in x86 mode (Low Settings) seems to have fixed the problem.

In x64 mode I have been able to get the settings up to medium without crashing.

Hope this helps.

Note: All the the Directx supposed fixes that people post haven't worked for me.

Radeon 7870

8gb Memory

750w Corsair PSU

I found out that you can play on fullscreen mode, in 50hz on 331.40 beta drivers Standard smile
